Free TEAS® practice that's worth your time
Good free TEAS® practice has original questions, explains why each wrong answer is wrong (not just which one is right), and matches the current version 7 topics. Use free practice to find your weak spots before you spend money on anything.
What to look for
- Explanations for every wrong answer. Knowing why a choice tempted you is what stops you falling for it again.
- Version 7 coverage: Science includes scientific reasoning, and anatomy and physiology is the biggest area.
- Original questions. Be wary of anything that claims to be real test questions; that breaks ATI's rules and is often wrong anyway.
- Sources. Explanations checked against a textbook, such as the free OpenStax books, are more trustworthy.
Free places to practice
- Examend's free Checks: an 11-question Science Check, a Math Check and an A&P and Biology Check. Each shows which traps you fall for, with no signup.
- The free TEAS® trap explainers on this site, each with an original practice question.
- OpenStax's free Anatomy and Physiology, Biology and Chemistry textbooks for content review.
- Your college library or tutoring center, which often has TEAS® prep books and study sessions.
How to use a practice question well
Answer before you look. When you miss, write one line on why your choice looked right. After a week, that list shows the handful of traps that cost you most of your points.
Common questions
Is there a free TEAS® practice test?
Yes. Free diagnostic checks and practice questions are available online, including Examend's free Science, Math and A&P and Biology Checks, which need no signup.
Are free TEAS® practice questions the same as the real test?
No legitimate site has real TEAS® questions. Good practice questions are original and written to the same topics and style.
See which traps you fall for
